Sniff Every Blade of Grass at Profit Park

Written by Michelle Brown

The saddest sound in the world is a client telling me how much they hate to deal with all the money stuff. They’re chomping at the bit to outsource it, put it on someone else’s plate, automate it. And while I am all for being the person that takes that tennis ball and runs with it 🎾🐶— it breaks my heart to hear it.

Because the pursuit of financial health and wellness for your business isn’t tougher than the cheapest rawhide bone still in the shrinkwrap, it’s a chance to sniff every blade of grass at the Profit Park.

And isn’t that the reason we’re doing all of this work and expending all of this entrepreneurial energy anyway?

So many times I see business owners walk around with the heaviness of managing the money. It feels like a burden, a heavy lift, a doggone pain in the ass. I hear you; there are a lot of things to remember/juggle and the to-do list of best practices for monthly maintenance seems long. Agreed, that is true.

And.

This is also your opportunity to flex your CEO muscles and body build your business. It’s an exercise, not a chore. We’re not pushing Sisyphus’s Boulder here, we’re on a fitness kick. Let’s get into it.

Because when you start to think of accounting and bookkeeping more like Gym Days and less like after-school detention, you will see spectacular results. Your money muscles will grow, your business will gain endurance, and your growth mindset will be ready for any challenge.

So, the next time you feel MEH about maintaining your financial systems for health and wellness, turn those sinking feelings into excited butterflies. You’re not going to the vet, we’re going to spend some quality time at Profit Park. I’ll bring the biscuits.

Like any fitness routine, reaching optimal health with your financials isn’t a matter of being Best in Show, it’s simply setting good habits & systems and sticking to them. If you need help figuring out what those are and implementing them, reach out; we’ve been spotting body building business since Scooby Doo was in short pants.
